What I do
Design as problem-solving, in service of meaningful work.
My background
I am a fifth-year architecture student at the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design at the University of Arkansas, with experience in custom residential, commercial, civic, and educational projects. My background includes design development, documentation, and built work across multiple scales, paired with hands-on experience in the school’s fabrication facilities supporting design-build workflows. Raised around designers and builders, I developed a drive to create thoughtful, empathetic environments that prioritize comfort, utility, and problem-solving.
My approach
I am motivated by the challenge of translating ideas into built form. I find the most value in solving unfamiliar problems, especially when they require new skills, tools, or ways of working. Collaboration is central to my process, and through both professional and academic experience, I have developed fabrication, parametric, and digital techniques through shared making and self-directed exploration. I treat constraints as opportunities, using them to shape work that is thoughtful, grounded, and engaging.
